What breeds are capable of it?

a) ALL BREEDS CAN BE DOG AGGRESSIVE AND PEOPLE AGGRESSIVE!

What makes a dog aggressive?

a) It "can" be the breed of dog chosen but most often, it is the individuals "allowing" of a dog to take over the pack.

This can happen with all breeds of dogs. Some dogs do it subtly while others will do it early on and with great assertiveness.

b) Rationing and limiting the dogs food (especially a puppy) is the #1 start to an aggressive dog. Dogs "fight" as a natural instinct to survive. If they are constantly hungry, they will begin fighting everyone for their food. They will start guarding their food, their treats, and everything that is theirs or that they "claim" as theirs.

c) Not enough exercise

d) Small kids or even teenagers and adults packing the puppy all around and not giving the puppy personal down time. Puppy will begin to demand it if it is not given in time.

e) Kids squeaking, flapping their arms, running from puppies and allowing puppies to chase, tug and bite at clothing. Eventually this gets out of hand and by the time the parents figure it out, kids are afraid and puppy rules again.

f) Allowing of children who are not educated (in proper space and manners) to train a puppy that is also not trained in space and manners. 1 of the two will win the battle. It is often the puppy.

g) Adults who are very passive and not able to conquer when puppy challenges.

PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT NO MATTER HOW MEAN AND NASTY THE BREED OF DOG IS, A CONFIDENT DOG OWNER SHOULD BE ABLE TO CONTROL A 6-12 WEEK OLD PUPPY!
